Putting together a 5k can be expensive with all of the costs factored into creating the event. A great way to cover the costs is by finding sponsors that can help contribute money or supplies to the event. In return sponsors can receive recognition at the event whether their logo or name appears on signs and t-shirts or they may receive recognition through announcements made throughout the event.
To reach out to sponsors you can take the approach of creating sponsorship plans, sending out letters to sponsors and visiting sponsors in person.
